What currency are orders processed in?
Prices on our website are automatically shown in CI Dollars and includes shipping and duty to Grand Cayman. For our Turks and Caicos clients, please select USD pricing and your additional duty rates will be applied at checkout.
During checkout, all orders are processed in CI Dollars.
Which countries do you ship to?
As of now, we only ship to our store locations in the Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos.
What are the Shipping & Duty costs?
The price listed on the product page is the final cost of the item inclusive of shipping and duty fees calculated into the price
The duty rate in the Cayman Islands is 22%. The price shown on the product page is the combination of the duty and inland freight charges from Miami to Grand Cayman, which is worked out as a percentage of the individual products in your cart.
The average duty rate in Turks & Caicos is 27.47%. An additional tax duty is added to your total at checkout when shipping to Turks & Caicos. The cost shown at checkout is the combination of the duty and inland freight charges from Miami to Turks & Caicos, which is worked out as a percentage of the individual products in your cart.
Some items require an additional shipping charge due to excess weight or special packaging requirements.
How will I know that you've received my order?
Once items have been ordered, a confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction. You may choose to print this for your records. An email version of this summary will be sent promptly, provided that we have an accurate email address.
How do I know if my items are available for immediate shipment?
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours from a member of our team. This acknowledgement will notify you if the items you have ordered are in stock and ready to be shipped from our suppliers, or if there is a back order or unforeseen issue with the product you have ordered.
What happens if my items are not ready for immediate shipment?
If an item is back ordered, our team will notify you within 48 hours or your order placement. You will have the option to keep your order as is with the delay, select an alternate item to order, or cancel your order of that item.
How does the Shipping Address information at checkout work?
Although you will be asked to provide a shipping address at checkout, our freight forwarder ships directly to our Design Studio Interiors stores in Grand Cayman and Turks & Caicos. Your shipping address will be used if you choose to have your items delivered to your home through our delivery services.
Where are my items shipping from?
Our suppliers ship directly to our freight forwarder in Miami. Once your items arrive at the warehouse, they will be placed on a container and brought to either our locations in Grand Cayman or Turks & Caicos. Containers sail twice a week.
How long will it take for my items to arrive?
Lead times vary by supplier, with case goods usually shipping within approximately 6-8 weeks from the time of order. Upholstered furniture usually ships in 8-10 weeks.
Occasionally, issues can arise that may lead to longer production time than normal, such as our manufacturers experiencing a backlog in production. If this is the case, you will be contacted as soon as we are made aware of the delay. If a product you have ordered is out of stock or on back-order, we will contact you with a new estimated shipment date and you can decide whether keep the order as is or cancel the item.
How will I know when my order has arrived on island?
When your items have arrived on island and cleared customs, we will notify you via email or telephone that your items have arrived.
If you have chosen In Store Pickup, you can collect your items at your earliest convenience.
If you have chosen a Delivery option, we will contact you to set up a convenient time for delivery.
Will I receive all the items in my order at the same time?
We ship your items as they are available. If all of the items on your order are in-stock and ready to ship, you will receive them at the same time. If an item is backordered or delayed, it will ship separately, at no extra charge. For your convenience, furniture items are held for a single delivery, shipping when all furniture items on the order are available.
